  • About

We offer homely, personalised care to people who are deaf with additional needs, such as learning disability, autism, mental health or deaf/blindness.

Located in the West Midlands, the home supports people to live as independently as possible, encouraging them to exercise choice and control over their lives. All residents are treated as individuals and have a person-centred support plan tailored to their specific needs. Day to day, they get to enjoy a range of activities including games, bowling, arts & crafts, cooking and much more!

During a recent visit, we had a chat with them about ways to enhance their daily lives, and two heartfelt requests stood out.

The first is a greenhouse, which would allow residents to grow their own vegetables and flowers. Gardening is a much-loved activity, and this would give them the opportunity to enjoy planting, watering, and eventually cooking with their homegrown produce.

The second is a portable snooker/pool table, which has been a long-standing wish for two residents who used to enjoy the game in their younger years. It would mean a lot to have this in place before Christmas.
