- About
We believe that there should be no limit to the activities that children and young people who are deaf, visually impaired or deafblind can participate in. Our goal is to provide a range of accessible and inclusive activities in an environment which supports young people and their families.
Our weekly Youth Club in Leeds is for children and young people aged 8 to 18 years old who are living with hearing or sight loss. We provide a safe and inclusive space where they can get to know each other, have fun and challenge themselves. The staff and volunteers who run our Youth Clubs have the specialist communication skills needed to support the children and young people and help make these sessions a fantastic experience for everyone.
“I love coming to our Monday youth club to do activities with my new friends who have some of the same problems I do”.
Our members help choose which activities we run from bowling to circus skills and even help fundraise for the group through activities such as their sponsored 'No Tech Day'!
By reaching our fundraising target, we will be able to offer more activities and opportunities for children with sensory impairments living in Leeds.
We are so thankful to everyone who can support our Youth Club in Leeds. Every donation you make towards our target helps us to support children every Monday at our Youth Club. Thank you!
